WHAT WE’RE ABOUT

We opened Hen of the Wood – Burlington in October 2013. Our Burlington restaurant is the sister restaurant to our original Hen of the Wood in Waterbury.

Our ethics are still the same and the menus change daily, based on a wealth of premium products found only miles from the restaurant. We have established a network of growers, artisans, designers, ranchers, bakers, wild crafters, and many more who are striving for both environmental harmony and continued growth. These relationships are what drive our restaurants! We have the utmost respect for these relationships and for our team.  We are glad you are here.

Fast forward to today and we have Hen of the Wood – BTV, Hen of the Wood – Waterbury, Doc Ponds Eat & Drink in Stowe and Prohibition Pig also in Waterbury.
